Guest guest
LaVerna, I've never heard of or read about nosebleeds with the diet. Other common causes of nosebleeds are : 1)picking 2)dry air/heaters-the most common cause at this time of the year. The treatment for this is simple--get some nasal saline over the counter and spray it multiple times a day up the nose (three or more). It only contains salt and water so should be keto-friendly. 3) allergies-becasue they lead to dry noses. Treating the allergies could help. 4)high blood pressure-very very uncommon in kids. Hope this helps! Debbie (mom to Bryce, almost 5) > Rebekah has been having several nosebleeds of late with it literally 'running'....anybody know if this is a diet side effect??? I used to blame them on the depakote but she is on just over two capsules a day now.....appreciate any feed back on this.....in the mean time we are doing a lot of laundry these days!!!!!! > LaVerna, mom to Rebekah > >

Guest guest
My daughter went through a period of nosebleeds. A woman from one of our local churches told me that Vitamin C could be the answer. I figured it couldn't hurt and so made sure we upped the vitamin C. Low and behold, no further nosebleeds. (Knock on wood). KimS nov 2002 celiac family
