Guest guest
I've heard quite a bit about collodial silver, and know some who swear by it. Problem is, it may help those things, but it can then add to your body burden of metals. It is used here in Ontario by Dr. ph Krop and is very costly. It is used for people with Chemical Sensitivities. i don't know it's implications for SCD or autism. Carol F. I also read that people who have amalgams (silver fillings in teeth) should not use this, but I don't know why.

I tried it internally and found I couldn't tolerate it. I think it kills most bacteria, good and bad, so it's a very effective antibiotic (they used to use it in hospitals before modern antibiotics came in as I understand it). I swear by it now for external use - healing burns, cuts, grazes, itching, stopping ezcema getting infected and so on - around the home: keeping the goldfish water cleaner, stopping mould in damp places. It is very healing and has a slightly drying effect and doesn't sting. I wonder whether for internal use it's better to stick with something a bit more 'natural' like garlic, herbs, grapefruit seed extract, etc. W colitis 25 yrs/cfs 11 yrs SCD 19 months
