Guest guest
> http://www.mercola.com/2004/apr/7/sinus_infections.htm Thanks for the information Carolyn, but please be cautious when making comparisons with Dr. Mercola's recommendations Elaine has often commented that his dietary protocols are not suitable for SCD. Since we are dealing with food, we can always find similarities in many other programs. (I used to quote Mercola from time to time too) People often identify other diets as being like SCD. It is a very natural and understandable. Because for some newcomers here, it poses a challenge to get started on SCD we have suggested in the list guidelines to not discuss other protocols. Carol F. Guest guest
I understand, but my point was not meant to be the diet, but that the fungus in the sinus might be similar to the bug problem in the gut, and our children might be dealing with similar issues. In other words, it all goes around. And since my son also has lots of congestion issues, I was wondering if there was a " link " and if the SCD diet might cure sinus issues as well. I do tend to get off topic into the science because its so fascinating. _____ From: cfrilegh Sent: Tuesday, December 14, 2004 4:26 AM To: pecanbread Subject: Re: Sinus infection prevention diet quite close to SCD--found this kind of interesting > http://www.mercola.com/2004/apr/7/sinus_infections.htm Thanks for the information Carolyn, but please be cautious when making comparisons with Dr. Mercola's recommendations Elaine has often commented that his dietary protocols are not suitable for SCD. I have had sinusitis since childhood but when I started SCD and eliminated grains there was a significant improovement. i rember about two years after being on SCD I had a Croissant and my nose immediately became stuffed up and began to run so what you say may be significant.
