Guest guest
Hi Joyce, San is a bit far, but I'll check google to see if there might be a closer place. The oncologist never mentioned either of these procedures. I thought maybe the radiological surgeon would know about SR and IMRT, but maybe not. Thanks. Guest guest
Sharon, You are most welcome, I made myself a promise a long time ago to try to help eliminate this disease anyway I could. My friends almost hate to see me coming. I truly get on my bandwagon about colorectal cancer. I just had another friend get her colonoscopy last week. They found 2 polyps in her and both were benign. Now if I could just get my daughter to get hers. My Son and I went together and are seriously thinking about getting one every 2 years, even if we have to pay out of our own pockets. He told me privately that no matter what it takes he does not want to go thru what Dad has had to endure. He also feels that it is the greatest gift he could give back to Dad. Sharon, I would continue to push your Oncologist. Dr. Fuss said is getting the cutting edge of technology and they are pushing the limits with him. We go tomorrow at 8am for a CT scan of the lungs. He has had a horrible cough and we just want to make sure they the airway has not been compromised. Both of his lungs have a tumor on each side of the airway, this is the reason they did not hit both tumors at the same time. I will let you know more tomorrow. The CT will be read immediately and Dr. Fuss will be there for the whole procedure. Best Wishes, Joyce > Joyce, > > I'm having trouble posting, so you may get two replies.
