Just increase it to the number of servings you will need for a large chicken or a roast turkey. Poultry Stuffing 1 cup almond flour butter nut pieces (walnuts, almonds or pecans) 1 clove garlic salt and pepper fresh herbs scissored (sage, thyme, Rosemary Oregano Basil combination or whatever is on hand) 1/4-1.2 finely minced onion raisins or other dried fruit cut into pieces. a little wine or grape juice 1 rib minced celery salt and pepper to taste In a skillet, saute onions, celery and garlic in butter add nuts raisins or dried fruit. Add almond flour and cook, stirring until golden brown. Add a little wine or juice and cook a little longer. Stuff and truss poultry and roast Tip: add orange juice or wine to roast poultry drippings for rich tasting gravy .. Green bean casserole. Add the following to cooked french style green beans: slivered almonds, cooked sliced fresh mushrooms, pieces of cooked bacon, cheese and if desired a little yogurt. bake at 350 until cheese bubbles. Candied Squash or Carrots. To cooked mashed yellow squash or carrots, add honey, vanilla, butter and broken pecans or walnuts Baked Desserts Coarsely chop pitted Medjool dates and Walnuts in food processor. Press into tart shells or pie plate over waxed paper and chill. remove from paper carefully and add your favorite filling, cooked fruit, custard, SCD ice cream or a dripped yogurt sweetened mixture.
