I am so happy to her that your daughter's pregnancy is going along so well. During my pregnancy (resected SU with 2 cervices) my high risk OB stopped checking my cervices at 24 weeks - she said that at this point the risk of incompetent cervix is over. So, that sounds fine that cervical checks won't be done any more. 6 weeks however seems like a long time in between visits, so maybe I would question that. Your daughter should be vigilent about warning sings of pre-term labour and not be afraid to call her OB. Take care, SU resected, bicollis <<This is . Some of you may remember that my 16 yr. old daughter is pregnant and she was diagnosed with SU. Like many patients, that has been changed 3 times. Now they think she has UD with septum thru cervix and vagina. She has made it to 23 weeks. It's a girl. She weighs about 1 lb. and 10 oz. So far so good. The peri says there is no need to see her again for 6 wks. ????????????????? They haven't checked her cervix in a month.????????????????? They seem to think there is no need since every thing looks good. Anyone disagree? Thanks, (mom/grandmaw)>> _________________________________________________________________ Powerful Parental Controls Let your child discover the best the Internet has to offer. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca & page=byoa/prem & xAPID=1994 & DI=1034 & SU=http://\ hotmail.com/enca & HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines Start enjoying all the benefits of MSNĀ® Premium right now and get the first two months FREE*.
