Guest guest
So I went for another ultrasound and nobody would tell me anything. It was really horrible. I had three people (a dr. and two techs) starring at the screen and pointing without saying anything. They would not answer any of my questions. The only thing the ultrasound dr. told me was that many women go on to have normal pregnancies after these " sorts of things " . Well, I sneaked a peak at the ultrasound report before delivering it to my dr. They saw something of 6mm in length and they think it is what is left of the fetus. No heartbeat. They also saw something else and gave the measurements of it. Everyone is worried about my high HCG levels (38 000 and 34 000 last week at 11 W). Now my ob-gyn, who won't tell me his opinion about my situation, has me scheduled for weekly HCG tests. All he said was that the pregnancy was not progressing well (duh! last week he told me that the baby was dead). I'm scared that they suspect a partial molar pregnancy. This sucks. Guest guest
- I'm so sorry. I've been there. The u/s doctors won't tell you anything (and you don't want them to -- radiologists aren't known for their bedside manner), but your doctor should be willing to share his opinion. OBs don't always want to deliver bad news, but you should know what he thinks is going on, even if it a list of possible diagnoses. I hope there is good news at the end of all of this for you, but in the interim, make sure that you're getting the care you deserve... , BU/SU?, 2 m/c
Guest guest
, I am so sorry about what is going on. This sounds crazy. They know that you are m/c, right? It sounds like they are " pussy-footing " around telling you what is going on. I am very sorry that you are left in limbo wondering if there is ANY chance that the pg is viable. I'd probably burst into tears at an appt if I were in your shoes. Tell your dr that it would give you great peace of mind to know exactly what is going on - and if he doesn't know he could at least share with you what he is thinking. Not knowing what to expect is the worst. Huge hugs, Sara SU resected x2
