Guest guest
, The cream is good...she gave me Myclog, with an antifungal and triamzalone (sp?) but since the area stays pretty "sealed (skin on skin)" - the cream seems to act as a sealant, too! It woke me up last night, itchy!! Have a good Tuesday! Lynn j5522us wrote: Hi Lynn,I honestly don't know if it could help ( and maybe you've already tried it), but you could try rubbing the OTC yeast creams on your skin, see if it helps? My skin rashes have not been in typical yeast-prone areas, so I'm not sure just what they are, but do think it's all related somehow. I've been using hydrocortisone, sometimes mixed in with the yeast cream:) You need some relief!Tenayahh, how do you get the device you're going to try? By prescription? I've never heard of it, but if it helps with sleep as well as pain, I'm game!

Hi , My new internist (who is very nutrition-minded and open to alternatives) referred me to a health counselor who supplies the Alpha-Stim. My doc said she really respects the work this counselor is doing in terms of helping people deal emotionally with health issues. If you call the company (contact info below) they can probably give you the name of a supplier where you live. I had a session with this counselor who seems very down-to-earth and practical. She has many clients who use it, and also uses it herself to reduce the feelings of stress. I tried it for 50 minutes during this session and when I got home, for a little while it was easier to walk up the stairs in my house. My body felt a little bit lighter. This is not something I expected or was looking for, but it still may have been part of the " euphoria " or energy boost you get from trying something new. If this happens again I'll be happy, but don't really expect it to last. The same thing happened when I started to take MSM. I woke up one day feeling amazingly light and suddenly could walk on my toes and heels again. Practically ran up the stairs! Walked 4 miles one evening. But my EMG was coming up and (not knowing how sick I really was) thought it wasn't good to be taking a muscle relaxant, sinced they'd be looking for myotonia.(They thought I had myotonic dystrophy)So I stopped the MSM. In two days my legs felt like tree-trunks again. After the EMG I immediately started back on the MSM but have never gotten that sense of lightness again. Honestly, for a day I thought the whole thing about weakness and muscle disease must be a horrible mistake, it felt so good! But no ... back to that wierd sense of moving underwater. I try to be open to new ideas but also skeptical, so we shall see about the Alpha-Stim and sleep. If it helps with the physical energy, even for a little while, that will be a bonus. The health counselor here rents for $7/wk to try it and then sells it for around $400. She wants people to try before they invest in it. Good luck! N.A.P.S. Article New Treatment Generates Safe Results for Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, and Pain An extraordinary new product was recently released for the more than 118 million Americans suffering from anxiety, depression, insomnia or pain. The Alpha-Stim, developed by Electromedical Products International, Inc. (EPI) based in Mineral Wells, Texas, is a small medical device that treats stress-related disorders and pain with tiny electrical currents. These currents are similar to those found naturally in the body and use unique waveforms to normalize the body's bioelectrical control systems. Alpha-Stim's simple, self-administered treatments, which generally take only 20 minutes every other day, calm frenetic brain activity found in stressed, anxious or depressed people, leaving the body relaxed and the mind alert. A physician's survey revealed more than 90 percent of people using the Alpha-Stim for pain, anxiety or depression and 79 percent of people using the Alpha-Stim for insomnia obtained significant results. The Alpha-Stim successfully treats anxiety, depression, insomnia and pain without serious side effects. Unlike medications, the Alpha-Stim is not addictive, does not develop tolerance and has no serious negative side effects. The Alpha-Stim is also highly cost-effective compared to on-going drug therapy and is frequently the quickest and most long-lasting solution to many pain and stress related problems. " Thank-you letters have poured in from people who have experienced amazing results with the Alpha-Stim, " said Dr. Dan Kirsch, chairman of EPI and developer of the Alpha-Stim. " Some people had suffered for years, not just from their condition but also from the harmful side-effects of medications, until they tried the Alpha-Stim. " The Alpha-Stim employs the concept that humans are electrical beings and that the biophysics underlying the body's chemistry play a significant role in regulating all of life's processes. And, since the brain controls every function of the body, the healing potential is tremendous. To date, Alpha-Stim microcurrent technology has treated an estimated 8 million people worldwide. The Alpha-Stim is available over-the-counter in Canada, Europe, Australia, South America, and Asia, but only by prescription in the U.S. For more information about the Alpha-Stim, visit the company's website at www.alpha-stim.com, call 1 (800) FOR-PAIN, (940) 328-0788 or fax .
