MRI results & m/c testing results - should I see an RE?

My ob/gyn called with the chromosomal testing for the fetal tissue

after my m/c. The reason I miscarried was due to a chromosomal

abnormality - so it had nothing to do with my anatomy which is the

good news.

The MRI revealed that I have a bicornuate uterus. The two u/s

(transvag) also revealed a possible bicornuate uterus. The pregnancy

was in the right horn.

Question - My ob/gyn says that since I have a bicornuate uterus, I do

not need surgery, but may need a C-section or have a breech baby. She

said I can TTC after my first cycle. I also have an appointment in

two weeks with an RE. Should I go for a consultation with this RE to

confirm this diagnosis? Any thoughts?

Either way I would see the RE. Definately if you have been newly

diagnosed with the BU. It is diffucult to determine a BU versus a

SU. I have an UU and was misdiagnosed with a SU. Get many

opinions, to be sure.

UU,

ttc 2 years

I'd go to the RE and bring your MRI films just to verify. Better to be safe than

sorry.
