Guest guest
Some Dr. like to wait until you have had problems meaning m/c. I don't feel it is fair to the patient for them to wait to loose a pregnancy to have the surgery. Try to find an RE that will spare you the pain of a m/c. A resection is such an easy surgery with a quick recover that there is no reason to not have it. - Liz > >Reply-To: MullerianAnomalies >To: MullerianAnomalies >Subject: What am I to expect. Guest guest
I had a m/c in March '01 and found out at that time that I had a uterine anomaly and I was told I had Uterus Didelphys. Then I had a healthy baby in September 02. Then I had a miscarriage in September 03. I finally went to see another RE last month and found out I actually had a complete septum that could be removed. I would DEFINITELY have it removed! I would have much rather not gone through the 2 m/c that I had. One week after I was diagnosed with SU and my surgery was scheduled, I found out I was pregnant! Needless to say, I can't even try to get excited until I can see where the baby has implanted. 50/50 chance of being on my septum or not. I'd have it removed so you won't have to go through this extra worry! I DID have my daughter with a septum with absolutely NO problems but she was a major miracle. =) Find an RE you can trust and get it out! =) Good luck! SU Some say to leave the septum alone until you get pregnant and see how the pregnancy but the dr. says to get it removed asap. Did anyone have a healthy birth with a septum in their uterus. > Cat Kuchcinski
Guest guest
With all this talk about finding a good RE do we have a list anywhere that lists REs that are liked around the country? I live in the Dallas area and have not found someone I like and would LOVE for someone to refer me to who they like. Thanks , 26, UD > Some say to leave the septum alone until you get pregnant and see how > the pregnancy but the dr. says to get it removed asap. > Did anyone have a healthy birth with a septum in their uterus. > > Cat Kuchcinski
