Guest guest
I had my surgery on July 23rd. I've still not gotten a period since then. I think the Lupron has been out of my system for a few weeks now. I'm on cycle day 57. Last period was June 28. How long after your surgery did your period arrive? The doctor told me at my post-op visit to call if it hadn't started by the end of August. I'm just curious what other ladies experiences were. And if yours needed help starting back up, what did your doctor do? TIA!
Guest guest
I didn't have to take Lupron which may delay your cycle for a while. My period came 3 days after surgery. Now this cycle has been all screwy and I am actually on day 24 and finally ovulated. I am waiting on my period, then I will have an HSG the week after and hopefully get the all clear to ttc again. Guest guest
Hi, Were you on Lupron prior to surgery? When was your last injection? I was on the BCP for 1.5 months before surgery to make sure my lining was thin. I was then on hormone therapy post surgery to help with the prevention of scarring etc. My period came on schedule but that could be because I am always pretty regular and being on the hormones I think kinda forces the period to come. I would call your doc now since it's approaching the end of August, something doesn't sound quite right. You should have had a period by now. 29 SU Resected --------------------------------- Post your free ad now! Yahoo! Canada Personals

I normally have my period every 40-45 days and this time my cycle was actually 35 days. In the past when I've had trouble getting a period I've been prescribed prometrium and another one that starts with a P that I'm drawing a blank on right now. Good luck to you! The first time was because I was taking Premarin after surgery, and Provera brought on a good period. The second time I had no estrogen or Lupron, but my cycle was delayed anyhow. I took Provera again, and I *ovulated* while I was taking it. Really atypical. Sometimes just the shock of surgery can mess up a cycle or three, and of course Lupron really does. You may have a massive period when it does arrive. Good luck. Beth SU, resected x
