Don't worry about being on island 17. There are a whole bunch of us who have been island hopping, looking for long term success and a good place to take on our #1 enemy.... zee infamous carb. No matter how long it takes, we will all succeed eventually. You are most definitely not alone. Look for my smoke signals. I've got the barbecue fired up and no shortage of food these days.

Not too well. I really lost my motivation when I left the island. To make things worse, I've had what I guess is a sinus headache every day since last Sunday that Advil and Tylenol just don't help much. (Don't even mention the "D" word..............I'd have to be a lot sicker before I'd go!) I tend to have a pity party when I hurt and turn to the carbs for comfort. Yesterday is the best day I've had all week, but blew it again today at a bar mitzvah we attended. There were bagels everywhere.

But I'm going to the store tomorrow to stock up for the coming week. I just have to pick up and move on. I will do my best next week, because the week after that is Spring Break and I will be taking the kids to west Texas to visit my Mom. And I KNOW it won't be a low carb week :-( It seems there's always just one thing after another to trip me up on this WOL. It's frustrating!

You, however, are doing great! I'm proud of you.
