Guest guest
What wonderful news, I'm so happy for you. I wish you an easy, uneventful pregnancy. I have heard of many people with a history of M/C taking progesterone for the first trimester (or even beyond in some cases). I'm afraid I don't have any experience to share, but do know that it is relatively common. All the best, a 35 wks, Complete SU Today my husband and I got some wonderful news. I am > pregnant. Guest guest
Dawn!! Congrats! I am so very happy for you. I really pray for you that this pregnancy goes smoothly. I have heard that the progesterone is helpfull for a lot of women that have had early m/c in the past. I can understand you being scared. Anytime you deal with loss in the past you can't help but worry. Goodluck to you and keep us posted! SU " What we have once enjoyed we can never lose, all that we love deeply becomes a part of us. Guest guest
Dawn, Yeah!!! I'm so happy for you! I hope you have a long, uneventful pregnancy! I am taking progesterone (started 3 days after ovulation). The progesterone helps the endometrial lining. During my one and only pregnancy, one week after I stopped taking progesterone I had a miscarriage (which could be unrelated). I've read that it is safe to take it up to 12 weeks during pregnancy so I plan to take it that long this time. I'm also taking baby aspirin (81 mg 1x a day). It was recommended to me by another woman who has a t-shape. It is to prevent possible clotting issues that can cause a miscarriage. I asked my RE's nurse about it and she said that the also recommend taking it. Best wishes to you in your pregnancy! Mikell, 32 t-shaped Good News to Share! I posted a month or so ago so sad and depressed and so many of you shared so much encouragement with me. You have no idea how much that has meant. I continually read the postings (although I have not felt as though I have much wisdom to add) and am learning so much. Today my husband and I got some wonderful news. I am pregnant. Just found out today and decided not to tell anyone for a while but I knew I could say something here. We are excited and very scared all at the same time. The Dr. keeps telling me my resection went fine and things look great but after two miscarriages in 9 mo I am nervous. Our Dr. wants me to start taking progesterone have anyone you heard of doing this? Well, I just wanted to share some hopefully encouraging news. I had my re-section on March 24th had one normal cycle and we were given the ok to try (this was only the second month of trying). I guess we know conceiving is not our issue!!!
