I was diagnosed with breast cancer this past October, the week after

my one year checkup for stage 2 colon cancer (which was clear) feel a

bit cheated out of the 1 year celebration. Hopefully next year I will

be considered a survivor of both. I would like to converse with

someone who has had similar experience.

I am so sorry for this setback. I pray that you will be a 2 time

survivor of this evil disease.

Don't cheat yourself out of your celebration. You need to celebrate

your victories, great or small.

I will be praying for your complete victory. Stage 2 is very

curable. Just hang with it and get a great team of onc, surgeon and

any others you need on your team, so that you have the best chance of

beating this monster.

Will you be having surgery? What chemo are they going with? Try to

get an onc who is very knowledgeable and up to date so that you will

get the best care possible.

May God bless you.

> If you don't get a response on this list (which would only happen

if there isn't someone with both) let me know and I'll forward your

email to a friend who had both.
