Congratulations sweetie, you must be so relieved. I'm glad you have an "average" baby, but I'm sure he/she is "totally amazing" to both you and dh. Now try to relax!

Woohoo! It all looks normal!

We had the U/S this morning, and we have, in dr's words, a perfectlyaverage child. I think this is the last time I will be ecstatic abouthaving an average child. LOLI must admit it was a little creepy at first. Dr started looking at the baby's face in front view - it looked like a little skeleton... and then the skeleton yawned and put its arm over its head. I was smitted right then! It did not move around too much, but it waved at us, flexed its legs, turned alittle. I hope it stays this nice and calm after it's born.They did all the measurements, and everything came in on the 50thpercentile. The organs checked out fine, and we got to count 10 fingers. Wait a moment... we didn't count the toes! I did not even see the toes. What if it doesn't have any? <g> Oh well, I think I can really relax now. I am down to my last pair of elastic pants, and really need to get into maternity pants. And we can finally start telling people. It's getting harder to hide my stomach at work, but I don't think anyone here would have noticed even if I was 7 months pg.And, it is a .......................... actually we don't know the sex. It's written down on a card, and sealed in an envelope, and I am not really anxious to find out. I think we will - it will cut the name finding task in half, but I am perfectly happy not knowing for now.Happy, happy, happy,a

and now I am starting to get worried. Last week I felt the baby all

coworkers (I work with computer scientists), would not have noticed

until 9 months probably! They are not terribly observant.

I wouldn't worry, I think the baby starts kicking in spurts. I sometimes

feel light fluttering and then nothing for the next few days. I was

convinced something was wrong after the car accident because I felt nothing,

but when we went for a heartbeat check all was fine. I think it's just our

minds playing tricks on us!
