Guest guest Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 Here is my rollater walker which I love: http://www.madamedical.com/merchant.mv? Screen=CTGY & Store_Code=MM & Category_Code=PAAWP4R. Our HMO paid for the $245. cost totally. If you need to simplify the site to open, just do www.madamedical.com then patient aids and wheelchairs; then 4 wheeled rollater walkers.4100FWM is the model I have. You need a doctor to write an Rx for features you need included. These are the features I needed and which it has: l. locking wheels, as well as brakes 2. large wheels for outdoor use (grass, gravel, hills) 3. a basket which can be either under the seat or hooked in front 4. a comfortable seat 5. a tray at the height of the handles. This is wonderful for carrying anything in the kitchen and for me, a place to put my Enkidu talking computer; also a place to put your drink and food at a stand up cocktail party! (I posted this same information in Dec. but I guess more folks are looking for them now. Today we'll add all of the walkers people are suggesting to the Synapse site. . . I checked it out and had forgotten to put this there.) The only thing my rollater walker doesn't have is chains for snow! Well, it's too cold today to go out anyhow. Thurza Quote
