If more of the world had attitudes like these guys we wouldn't have the plethora of politico-religious messes we see today. Buddhism isn't a religion, it is a philosophy that has religious overtones but is described as the 4th largest religion in the world. Having said that, there is a difference between Tibetan and Theravada Buddhists. Some good reading to learn the difference would be " In the Hope of Nibbana " , by Winston King, then you can compare and contrast.
