Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Monday is payday. It's also the day I'll be going down to the main bus office (DH and I both need passes and he needs to do his pic for his new " permit " - that's what they call the reduced fair ID card - so we have to actually go to the office). If we're going to go to that part of Seattle, it's only a few more blocks (and a very easy bus ride) to the International District... Now for the real point of this post. I keep hearing mention that you can buy good GF flours for very good prices in Asian markets. Are there particular flours or brands that I should look for? Is there a particular price range I should be expecting? Any other products I should look for while I'm there? (At the very least we'll be going to Uwajimaya - www.uwajimaya.com , but we can go to smaller markets too if there's something particular we should be seeking).Probably Tuesday, I'll be going to Trader Joe's. Anything that I should be looking for there besides the rice pasta? And yeah, I know with TJ's you have to read labels... Dee Quote
