Guest guest Posted March 6, 2006 Report Share Posted March 6, 2006 Hello my name is Tonya, I am 36, I was diagnosed with breast cancer last July 26th 2005, I was 7 months pregnant, talk about shocked!!! I had a c-section at 37 weeks and my daughter is healthy and beautiful! I started chemotherapy 2 weeks after the c-section, went through 8 rounds of chemotherapy,had my mascetomy Feb 9th and now starting monday I am starting 6 weeks of radiation, WOW!!! I am ready for all of this to be over!! We went with the expander reconstruction, I guess it is going to all turn out ok? My plastics surgeon wants to do the Latissumis Dorsis procedure sometime around May or early June after radiation, it seems like a fairly decent surgery but everyone is different, the area here in Texas there is no one my age in the support groups so I feel I have no one to ask and talk about what I am about to face.....I would like to talk and chat with someone close to my age, someone that has some knowledge about this surgery.
