thanks for your welcome! To be honest the fatigue is the most

frustrating thing for Dennis. As I said he is still managing to

work 40 hours per week, but it can be quite physical work, and is

nothing to what he is used to working. He used to easily manage 6am

to 6pm, 6 days a week. Now he has trouble getting up in the

morning, and is asleep in the chair every night - great company ;-

))!

He's not that sure he wants to try the EPO, would like to try

without it if he can, but I guess when the time comes that he's

eligible for it, and if he's feeling worse he'll be happy to at the

time.

I have had a good look around www.igan.ca but not sure if I've come

across 's story ... could you tell me how to find it. I've

definitely read Pierre's and found it really interesting and

helpful. Dennis is certain he would prefer hemodialysis in any case.

I didn't mention that we have two girls, one 8 1/2 and the other 5

1/2. Our older one is quite aware of what is going on, and has been

reading through the book we were given. She said she would like to

give Dad one of her kidneys but we told her she's too little! She's

very sweet ... however she did ask that if anything ever happened to

her that she could be a donor to help out some other kids. " Would

you do that for me Mum? " she said. Brings a tear to the eye!
