Guest guest
My two cents, I can't think but it's due to the fatigue, concentration, what's that??? I use to read a book in a day, no problems, now if I can read 10 pages I consider it good... Now would they say that my cognitive functioning is down due to PLS? All I know is I went from first major symptom to disability in just 4 months and it wasn't due to the fact that I walked with a cane... Boy, wish I could walk with a cane now!!! dale COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING > Hello all, > I have to get my two cents in on this subject of cognitive > functioning... > When I first started doctoring with neuros, they didn't know what I had > but did always say " no cure... no treatment " altho was sent for therapy > ( physical, speech and occupation) which only made me worse. They also > said this type of disease does not affect the mind,,(whoopee).... I
Guest guest
i'll take my 2 cents back if I have to... I think I need a better definition of cognitive. My husband isn't home now and I don't move while he's out for fear of falling and noone here to help if I would.. otherwise I would use my walker to transfer to my w/c and go get a dictionary to see if I am using the word cognitive correctly... still need help with this as about everything is shot with me but my mind and I want to say it is sharper than before this stuff (PLS) started 5 years ago..I am 72 years old Jeanette
