Guest guest
Hi Trisha I have been celebrating my 65th birthday five years now. I will be 70 on June 20th. Never looked forward to being 70 but now I'm happy because when I turn 71, I will be through this junk!!!! Yes, I am battling both constipation and diarrhea. I will be needing a laxative soon. I am verrrrr yyyyy tired too. Went for my hemocrit today. Actually they did both a cbc and cbf, which is a more complete one. But still I had a phone call to come in Monday for a complete blood test. I see the Dr on Wednesday, so he always wants an up to date test. I met my friend at the infusion center today. She, Lorraine, was the one who had bc seven years ago. Every three months they are still checking her out. Not good, I think. And Peggy drove me again today, she is a super good friend. But I drove her to the hospital two years ago when she had blisters that turned out to be cellulitis. She spent five days in the hospital that time. I had my first chemo on Feb. 3rd and again on the 10th. Also had the cytoxin pills 14 days in a row at the same time. Then two weeks off. And see the Dr and then start another month of chemo. So that is sscheduled for March 3rd. I feel pretty good but I don't have much of an appetite.....I eat most of my meals about 3/4 of the way through, then I'm done. But that's o.k. because I ate all the good things I wanted before chemo and after three months had gained 13 lbs. I do not want them back. Best wishes Trish Janet A
