Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Thanks everyone for answering. The surgeon told me since the mass has been tagged by the radiologist, that I would be coming to the hospital for a needle localization. He said this is when they insert a wire and attach it directly to the tag that's in place. Once that is done I will then go to the surgery department and given a local or something, I will not be put out completely. Then he will cut around the areola and follow the wire to remove the mass. Sew me up and we're done. And I will go home that day. I asked about returning to work and he did ask what I do. (retail management)and said just to give it the weekend. You are right, I do need to find out what my restrictions will be after surgery. Tomorrow I call to see what time the surgery is scheduled and I will ask all my questions then Thanks again Nitsa > > FOR NITSA: sorryths reply is so late but I was in the middle of a reply > to you and our power went out and 'I lost the message.
