Guest guest Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I was on 10mgs of Pred daily and 10 mgs Methotrexate 1x week since September. I just went off the Pred about 3 weeks ago and felt fine until last week, my right index finder started to feel the arthritis pain again and my right knee too. So, anyway, I've decided to see a new Rheumatologist, I have an appointment in 2 weeks. Since the Methotrexate, clearly is not working (it was the Pred that made me feel better), I want to get off of that too. I will talk to the new Rheumy about other medical options, but I am set in my mind that I am not going to go back on Pred and I do not want to be on Methotrexate either. Because of the Methotrexate, I have been severly sick several times. I have a 2 year old child, who is in day care and comes home with everything. So, can you just stop taking Methotrexate? thanks, Quote
