, 's school is until Jan 31... and today we found out that he won't be able to stay here after it's over. There are no openings for E-5 here... Basically we have our choice between Georgia, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New York and Alaska. I'm pretty sure they all come with two years stabilization except for Georgia. That would be three years... I'd really much rather be in La bc at least while he's deployed (they do 3-6 month rotations in his job) I'd be near family... and even when he's not we could go visit on 4 day weekends. But Georgia offers a better opportunity for him. He'd earn wings and get flight pay, plus it's an extension of what he's learning now and it would look better on his resumes. So I understand that while La would be a better move for me, Ga would be a much much better move for him (and it would actually benefit us all eventually). I think we actually have overseas options too (Alaska is considered overseas but I'm talking actual other countries) but we're not thinking of that for now. We need to talk about what to do but I'm not really wanting to. Every time he starts to talk about it I think of him missing birthdays and Christmas again and I start crying. So I'm trying to avoid the whole discussion with him as long as he'll let me. Of course, he insists on my input so I won't be able to hold it over his head later. LOL Anyway... I hope he can keep that up*!!!!! Now how long is he in school????
