Guest guest
I wish you the best of luck in this next stage. Sending lots of healing vibes your way. I'm glad to hear things went well and you are resting. Depression is totally understandable, though it could be worse yes, it is still real and dealing with that might take you some time. The things we do to stay upright and above ground on this planet........ Hang in there and rest up. Good luck with the transplant workup on Monday! Amy pd catheter surgery Hi everyone. The PD catheter was put in Friday and I went home Saturday. The surgery went smoothly and I am just tired and sore. My creatinine is up to 7.7 so I will probably start PD as soon as the catheter heals. I do find that I am a bit depressed that it has come to this. Ah well, it could be worse. Thanks for your prayers and support. Guest guest
Hi , I'm glad that your surgery went smoothly, although I'm sorry that you are having to start PD soon. And you are right, it could be worse. You'll get the hang of PD and then you will feel a ton better, I promise. Anyways, I hope you can get your transplant soon, you are in my prayers. > Hi everyone. > > The PD catheter was put in Friday and I went home Saturday. Guest guest
Hi , Of course it is disappointing that it has come to needing dialysis. Please allow yourself to embrace all the emotions you are going through. Even knowing you may one day need dialysis and actually coming face to face with it are two very different things. I hope your PD catheter heals nicely and that you have as smooth a transition as possible. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
Glad to hear it went Ok. It would be nice to stay healthy forever, but I can think of a lot worse things to have than kidney failure. Pierre pd catheter surgery Hi everyone.
