Thanks so much Amy for helping to support the two IgAN sites. For those of

you who are new, Amy gives me the opportunity to let you all know that Pierre,

our founder, supports these two sites out of his own very limited funds.

Pierre is on dialysis and not able to work, and if we each did even a little

bit,

he would not have to shoulder the responsibility out of his very limited

resources.

Thank you for those who do help and I would really like to encourage the

newcomers to consider helping out Pierre too. He does not take any salary for

his

work on these boards, and in fact it costs him considerably to keep these two

sites up and running to provide information and support for all of us. I try

to put up a notice a couple times a year about donations hoping at some point

these two sites would be self sufficient so Pierre does not have any out of

pocket expenses as he does now.

To donate, please go to www.igan.ca, and you will see the option to help

support the site using PayPal.

I will do another reminder towards the end of the year when many people

consider giving donations.

Oh no, I forgot to change that. Don't send anything until I do. Good thing you

picked up on that. I have to change it on the website.

@rogers.com address. Is this one still correct or do you need to change it to

your new one in your paypal account before I send funds? Just wondering before

Ok, I've changed it and it's active already. Use

pgl-groups@...

This is just the email address I use for the group, to help keep the emails

separate. I will be changing the buttons on the website shortly.

Thanks Amy. I just happened to be home early. I had the opportunity to go to

dialysis for 3 this afternoon. It always seems to go faster in the afternoon as

opposed to the evening, and today was no exception. Of course, I did sleep

through a couple of hours at least.

I have to eat and rest a bit now, but I'll probably be replying later this

evening to some of the 40 group emails that are new in my inbox since I left

home just 6 hours ago! Can't argue with success though. I got my epo, and I'm

raring to go, like Popeye with his can of spinach. As long as I don't run into

Bluto on the way to the kitchen, I'll be Ok.

PS The Donation buttons on the website have been changed too. They use my

personal address, but either one works.
