I'm so glad to hear your sister's wedding went well! I wish I was in Aruba relaxing too!

I hope you have a great birthday! It is so cool that you will be 34 yrs old at 34 weeks!

I love number things like that... DH thinks I am crazy for always obsessing about numbers. I think there is a name for that and it's some type of disorder! LOL!

I am so glad to hear that the wedding went well and your dress looked

great. Can't wait to see pictures. Glad to hear that you are doing

what you can to prepare for the baby. It makes you feel better and

that will be one less thing to deal with when he/she gets here.

Friday sounds like a great day for you! Happy birthday in advance and

happy anniversary to the group!

My SIL who is due 10/13 was told on Friday that if she hasn't had her

baby in the next 3 weeks that she can pick a day and they will induce

(this is her 2nd, the baby is already very large and she has dropped

and is effaced but not dialated and EXTREMELY uncomfortable). Her Dr.

wants to wait to induce until 37 weeks to make sure his lungs are

mature. She was told the baby is already plenty big.

You are really in the home stretch now. This is sooo exciting. You

and Elle are getting so close!

Do you think its a good sign that the baby is really low? I guess I

will know more in two weeks when I have an internal. I'm excited to

know if anything is going on yet but I also don't want to be

disappointed.

I'm glad the wedding went so well. I bet you looked like a doll! Sorry

you got so tired, but I guess that's to be expected. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

34 and 34 that is funny, see you can still do that at 35, 35 and

Also, Friday is my and Dh's 5th anniversary as well. It should be a

special day all around!!!

Btw, for my dh's birthday last week, I got him Epson perfection 1640

scanner. It can take negatives, slides up to 4 " x5 " and documents up

to 8x11. I got that one mostly b/c he can scan in his large format

slides, but I would love to have a full doc scanner as well. It was

about $400. Right now we have HP PhotoSmart scanner. It is works

well, but it can only take in pix up to 5 " x7 " , in addition to 35mm

slides and negatives. I think it was only about $200.

Happy Anniversary!!! I think I do want a scanner that can use

negatives. One problem I have though is that my computer only has 2

ports. One port has my cable modem and the other my printer. We

bought a 4 port HUB but I can't get my printer to go through it.

What a funny thing, my dh and I's 5th wedding anniversary is Friday

also. That is so cool. We are really looking forward to it this year,

now that Christian has arrived.

No we're not definately set on names just yet. We've been leaning

towards Noah or Logan as first names for boys with either Dean or

Beckett as middle names. For Girls, we're leaning towards

Mackenzie or possibly . It's just so hard!

I have been really unconfortable the last week or so too. Everything

is an effort from getting dressed to sleeping to going to the

bathroom! I won't even get into shaving! I am so anxious to meet

Roo, but I know I will misss being pg as well. Yet, I have to say I

am ready to get back into my old clothes. I live for the day I can

tuck a shirt in and wear a belt!!!

Pam -

The HP PhotoSmart Scanner comes with its own SCSI card. The Epson

Perfection 1640 can use SCSI or USB bus. We hooked it up to the SCSI

card, and it worked immediately - gave beautiful pictures. Dh was very

happy with his present (and it can OCR text docs too, in addition

to slides and negatives!).

Elle, I like the names Noah and Logan for a boy and I love the name Mackenzie!! I suggested that to my dh but he said it was too long to go with our last name. I am sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable. Gee, I feel like I am unfortable sometimes now, I am afraid to find out what really being uncomfortable is......oh boy. Mackenzie is becoming the favorite more and more. , as the

middle name, is after my Godmother whom I absolutely adore. My

favorite boy name is Noah (also DH's Great Grandfather's name) with

either Dean (after DH's father) or Beckett (DH's Grandmother's maiden

name) as the middle name. It's funny because almost everyone of our

friends think we are having a boy and both of our shower invitations

were a Noah's Ark theme. of course, all of this means we're probably

having twin girls!

I thought I was uncomfotable at about 28 weeks. Oh Man...I had no

idea what I was in store for once I hit 32 weeks! I know all of the

aches, pains and uncomfortableness will be well worth it in the end!

I just had to comment when I saw you wrote that you are longing for

the days when you can tuck in a shirt and wear a belt. After I had

Christian, the next day my stomach was down so much, I felt so thin!

I kept telling dh that I can't believe how thin I feel. I am now

wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes, and it does feel good, although I

can say I do not want to wear anything I had in my closet, I have to

go out shopping. It is amazing how good you feel after you don't have

that belly anymore, you don't realize how much until after it is

gone. I do miss being pg, feeling him kick, but is is so much better

to have him here, and now, I can sleep on my stomach and hug dh

close, which we could not do for so long!

Enjoy your last few week being pg!

Wow! You are my mentor! You must be so proud to be back in your pre

pregnancy clothes already! I know I'll be the same way and want to

get some new things. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until we go to

the States at Christmas to go shopping, as the quality of clothing

just isn't the same here and if you do find something of quality, it

has been imported from the States and it is twice as much in price.

Maybe I'll find some good deals at the Christmas sales. But, come

next Spring...watch out!!! I know I'll miss being pg as well. I

can't wait to sleep on my tummy either! Gosh...I miss that! And,

hugging DH close ~ lots to look forward to!
