Guest guest
Yes. I stay home and homeschool. We are a Christian family on a tight budget. Our marriage has had it's ups and downs and I have questioned it before. I cannot get a divorce. I don't want one. I just want our family to be happy and I am not abused, just misunderstood, I think. -- Re: Uncooperative husband. Please help! HELP! For your adrenals to heal, you must relieve the stress in your life. Yet your husband, homeschooling your children, and your budget are major stressors that you've decided not to change. Still, on a positive note, you have a doctor who prescribes Armour, which is more than some people here. So you just have to confirm that your adrenals are fatigued before treatment. Have you done the pupil test? Read articles in the files section? If your doctor and insurance won't cover it, you can order your own labs for about $140+ at http://canaryclub.org/ using Diagnos-Techs. Once you have the results, you can start treatment with either Isocort or hydrocortisone. Barb
Guest guest
Ann, Can you post them again? I didn't see your test results come over on my computer but sometimes my Outlook drops messages. If you post again I will take a look and tell you what I think. Cheri Re: Uncooperative husband. Please help! I have had the saliva test for adrenals. Is that not the right test? Guest guest
Am 16 (13-24) > Noon 9 (5-10) > PM 7 (3-8) > Midnight 7 (1-4) What are your energy levels like at this four points of the day. The 8 am level looks low to me, within range certainly, but I think you would feel better if it was higher in that range, going for optimum rather than in-range. Val will know more about how this works but if cortisol is low first thing, I think the adrenals struggle for the rest of the day to increase the cortisol levels and that MAY be why your noon levels is top of the range as is your 7 pm level with your adrenals finally managing IT at midnight when it is too late to be of any use to you! PS taken at bedtime will lower that midnight level and should help with sleep. PS ? Now what does it stand for? something-or-other Serine, someone else will chip in with the necessary missing first bit of the name I am sure. Guest guest
I rarely post here but my first thought on this subject was what I have personally experienced with illness in myself and the remarks of my husband and others. I think what it is all about is that until/unless these people get ill themselves, they will say and believe stupid things. It is " easy " for them to give advice. I don't want your husband to get ill by any means, but IF he does develop an illness as he gets older, he will see things " very " differently. I think this is true about anything in life - I know I didn't have true empathy for people who had lost a parent until I had lost both of mine. A person just doesn't really understand deeply until they have walked a mile in the person's shoes. Your husband is trying his best to help - in his own way. Men want to fix things and fix them now. Women tend to ruminate and rehash - I know I do! Chris " We are not human beings having a spiritual experience but spiritual beings having a human experience. " DON & #39;T BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS PETS DIE. ADOPT FROM YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER. Chinese proverb: " When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other. Your labs aren't that bad. You said you were tired. Maybe you're just not on enough Armour. Did your doc ever test free T3, instead of TSH? Maybe he's got you on too low a dose because of the TSH, which is always lower with Armour. Others will have suggestions on how to lower your midnight level. And that is definitely why you can't sleep. Barb

Guest guest
I seem to have enough energy, just not sleeping well. I get sleepy, though if I sit down of a few minutes. Guest guest
Am 16 (13-24) Noon 9 (5-10) PM 7 (3-8) Midnight 7 (1-4) With these labs I would recommend Phosphatidyl serine in the late evenings. This will help lower your too high night time cortisol and tht will bring your AM up the tad it needs to be perfect. Correcting hypo for you shoudl also help as it is the stress of your adrenals trying ot cope wiht a too low metabolism that is causing this. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

Guest guest
You need at LEAST 500MG PS to be worht taking,. Yes Isocort in the AM may also help but it would be much better to just lower the night time cortiosl so your adrenals would not be so depleted in the AM. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

Guest guest
I would take the PS abotu 7-8 PM to give it time to work before bedtime. If after 2 weeks that doesnt; work try 2 pellets of Isocort when you eat breakfast as oyu need ot eat with it but should take it as soon after you wake as possible. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
