After an hour and a half glued to the telly, I thought I'd download tons

of messages but looks like everyone else also got glued too.

Watched Delia for the first time in years and it just happened to be the

Chocolate Pudding show (now you know why I'm not posting this on

slimmers - it'd be a virtual lynching!). Then Equinox about Stress

which I found so interesting I forgot to turn over halfway through for

Royle Family.

Did anyone else see Equinox? If not, I'd be happy to post a summary of

some of the stuff that came up - some to do with babies' stress

responses at 8 week jabs and their method of delivery; importance of

social networks to women as coping mechanism; carer (no typo) stress;

importance of early mother-child relationship.

There's quite a bit of it anyway at http://www.channel4.com/stress

particularly how the different sexes cope including this comment:

‘My husband finds looking after the children a completely stressful

experience. When he does look after them he can't do anything else. It

is not that women don't find that stressful but we find ways of coping.

We are very good at juggling.’

Cor - I know a lot of people on this list could've written that!

Sorry group I am trying to stay in touch, and welcome to all the new who

recently joined the group. I have been having severe neck pain and

migraines. And body aches that leaved so tired and breathless after

little work I have not been on much. And the fibro-fog has kept me from

going anywhere or watching tv or reading. So been doing a lot of

sleeping. Lots of things going on right now lots of stress over job and

home problems, it has been a rough couple of weeks. Sorry I been

thinking of all of you though and hoping you are having lots of good

days. Deana

Darcy,

Did you make sure that you said that you were leaving because of ill health.

it will help if you go for SS disability. Even better if you could get

something from your doctor.

Take care,

Irene

Where are Y'all at? Just us with the fat feet seem to be communicating. We

are having a lot of new members and they would like to hear from someone

beside us. Come on guys, start speaking. That is unless you are not doing

well. Then we all understand why you are silent.

Take care,

Irene

Sorry Irene, I naturally have fat feet, that and high arches are blessings

from my Dad. I didn't figure my input counted in the " fat feet " discussion.

I'm just trying to make it through all that needs to be done here at work in

my last few days. Sad about having to leave, but looking forward to being

able to maybe do some stuff at home at last. Tired with muscles aching, but

still trying to push a little so as to not leave my buddies at work in any

bigger mess than I am. On the bright side, they're having a pot luck for me

leaving on the day before my last day.

Deana,

I'm sorry to hear you are having such a rough time! I can sympathize with you

I also get terrible migraines along with horrible neck pain, have been down

for 4 days with a migraine as for the neck pain it very rarely ever goes away

for me. What do you take for your migraines if you don't mind me asking? Do

you also have fibro? I do. I have had the injections in my neck wich seemed

to help for a little while but thats about it. I have just started physical

therapy on my neck now so we will see how that goes but it's hurting me more

than helping at this point but I'm sure that is normal. My therapist said I

am so out of alignment that even my ribs on the right side of my back don't

feel in place so it's a wonder why i feel the way I do. Please let me know

how your doing.

,

I'm not Deana, but I'll tell you what the Dr. prescribed for my migraines,

and it really seems to work. It's called Maxalt, and it's a small,

dissolvable pill, that I put under my tongue. It's not the greatest tasting

stuff, but it sure works on my migraines! Hope this helps!

I don't think you hurt anyones feelings! I think we were all happy to hear

that you had some good days! Unfortunately we don't like to hear that now you

aren't feeling too good. Just take that one day at a time it's all that we

can do at this point . Stay positive! Hope your starting to feel a little

better. Stay in touch...

Deanna.

This group is the greatest because everyone on this list care for each other.

We love and support each of us. We cheer when things are good for you and

we help when things are bad.

Thanks for writing back. I am such a worry wort. I don't like to

brag and hurt someone and I know what the pain feels like so I appreciate

the time you took to write and tell me that, this group isthe greatest.

That in it self is an example of the support we give to each other. Ì

am still feeling pretty bad today too so like you said one day at a time.
