Guest guest
K8, I am kind of in the same boat that you are, I am a senior in college and I haven't ttc yet either. I accidently got preganant which ended in miscarrage. My doctor also told me not to worry about it until i wanted to get pregnant, but it still bothered ( I guess I kind of wondered if I had done something wrong) me so i went on for further testing. I have been told that after a resection most pregnancy out comes are pretty good. I will be thinking of you. It helps to know that other people are going through the same thing. Guest guest
My son was on a dairy free diet his entire life prior to SCD. I add mashed banana and a little honey to the yogurt and he loves it. When it's plain, it's rather tart so the fruit and honey takes away the tartness. Have you tried that by chance? Robbie (unknown) My son is 10 yrs old and autistic. He was on the gluten and casein free diet for 4 yrs from 3-7. He did alright but I didn;t see any big changes, I just started him about 3 wks ago on the SCD and he's adapted very well. My question is I'm using the goat milk yogurt in many of the recipes. This is the one item he will definately never eat plain (I've trying dressing it up many ways) He's never really had milk products. Do you get the same curative properties in the intestinal tract using it in cooking as you would taking it by mouth? Does the heat kill the probiotic effect? Sherry For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info and http://www.pecanbread.com
