Guest guest
Pam, Thanks! I can't even imagine having a baby that big though! I am too small to have a baby that big!!! My friend that had twin girls in May told me that at her last u/s the Dr. told her both girls were 6 lbs. When they were born though, one was 4 lbs. 11 oz. and the other was 5 lbs. 7 oz. So, I'm hoping my u/s was a litt6le off as well! What also kind of scared me about the baby coming early is that I've still got so much to do! I guess this will motivate me to get everything done as soon as possible though! How are you feeling? Wow! You've already finished the classes? So, did you get all that you had hoped to out of it? elle > Elle > > We just got back from our last childbirthing class. They had two > couples speak. One just had a c-section. Guest guest
Elle The couple who spoke on the c-section said they were disappointed too. They had planned a water birth. They had this whole birth plan. When they did her c-section her baby was so far up they had to suction him down. They tried to induce her twice prior. She said she knows now the c-section was their birth plan and things happen for a reason. I really liked my childbirthing classes. We spent the last class listening to the two couples speak and we got ask our instructor questions. Whether is be on pg, l & d or the baby. I also have 6 postpartum classes after the baby is born. She said you start going the first to second week you are home. It sounds great. Its once a week for 2 hours. You get to meet other moms, learn about how to take care of your baby etc.. Guest guest
Elle, I think the postpartum classes are a great thing to offer. I hope things work out for you and you can deliver naturally.
Guest guest
Pam, When I was like 28-29 weeks with Emma, I started getting BH like every five minutes for a while. I completely freaked, called the Dr's office and they told me to drink 32oz of water and lay on my left side for an hour. That's what I did and they stopped almost immediately. They also said I was dehydrated. I was in meetings for a few days that week and wasn't able to drink water like I should have and I guess I dehydrated myself. So, I know what you mean! {{{HUGS}}}
