Guest guest
Well, I have good news and bad news The good news is there has been no change noted in Phil's, CT scan no reduction or growth in the cancer. The bad news is that his counts are pretty bad. Platelets, white and Red Counts are ALL down there are signs of bleeding somewhere in the colon and a blood transfusion and colonoscopy are scheduled for this week. Please pray for all of us Thanks Phil, Narice, Dan & Timmy May " As long as I know the WHO I can bear any HOW even though I don't know WHY " (Commentary on Job from Dialogue in Despair)
Guest guest
You already have my prayers Narice and I will pray extra hard...but I'm so very happy to hear that basically Phil is stable...which for cancer is a very good thing. I don't understand one thing though....Phil has been feeling so well how can his counts be so low? I guess each person reacts differently. Bert's were never really low so I don't have any first hand experience with that. But a gal I work with diagnosed about four months ago with breast cancer looks and feels just awful when her counts are down and usually, as a result, they can't give her any chemo. Stay the course Narice. I'll know more on Bert come Thursday. I pray he has remained NED. Guest guest
Narice, I will pray for Phil and you as you continue this fight. The uncertainty plays havoc with one's psyche.
