Guest guest
Cheri, Okay, I'll bite...what did your tongue and eyes look like when you had parasites? On the iodine, I know a lot of people here use Lugol's or Iodoral. I'm using something from Standard Process called Iodomere. Here's a link describing it. When I took Iodoral, it was too strong for me. Here again I'm a sensitive person! http://www.standardprocess.com/display/displayFile.aspx?docid=357 & filename=/Publ\ ic/Lit/TabSheets/iodomere5020.pdf I like that Standard Process is dedicated to producing whole food supplements and I like their low heat, vaccuum method of processing supplements to avoid damaging the nutrients contained therein. I think GOL has the same standards too which will be a good compliment to my regimen although it is presently on hold. I've not had my goiter examine since it was first discovered in 05. I saw two endos who refused to treat sub-clinical hyopT and have been on my own since then. Treating my hypoT has helped me recover my loud voice...like at a sporting event or concert when you must talk above normal levels to be heard by the person standing next to you...I used to lose my voice within the first ten minutes and it stayed gone until the next morning. Not much fun. Also, even though I no longer eat it, I regained my ability to swallow peanut butter! LOL It's the little things in life that make a difference, right? Have you read the book, From Fatigue to Fantastic? It has some good info in it. I used to buy them and give them as gifts to people. --------------------------------- Need a vacation? Guest guest
I won't use GOL products, particularly not the ones that contain " soil organisms " as many consider those harmful. I would definitely recommend you do some more research before using that product. Plus I do not like the company at all, having had a bad experience with them. I wasn't going to say anything, but found I could not keep silent. I know many people swear by the company and its products, but I also have read the " other side " of concerns with them. just my personal 2 cents, sol Whitmore wrote: > Is this the Garden of Life PRIMAL DEFENSE Ultra? Guest guest
Could you elaborate, Sol? I love their products and have never heard that soil organisms are bad as long as they are taken from a good source, which GOL does. All I know is their probiotics have worked wonders for me, and I tried a lot of brands before them. My only complaint is I wish they were cheaper. Guest guest
Unfortunately, I can't elaborate without cross-posting emails without permission. Do a google. Some of the negative comments on these products came to me from the Candidiasis list if memory serves. I'm on so many lists I do forget where I read what. In my personal case, the company lied to me about what is in their product(s), and got rather nasty when I pressed and finally got the truth. I was not rude nor confrontive in my emails to them nor was I aggressive or confrontational, I just pressed for accurate information, there was NO reason for them to get angry with me, but they did. I stated the results of my own reading, email info I have encountered from people I do trust to know what they are speaking of, and my own experience with that company. You might read everything I have and still come up with the opposite opinion. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, and I just stated mine. Do with it what you will. But I felt an obligation to get it out there that these products are not universally admired, and some consider them risky if not actually dangerous. sol MsSquarepants wrote: > Could you elaborate, Sol? Guest guest
I tried googling and found nothing. Can you at least give some search terms to google? Thanks, Cheri Re: OT-Possible Liver Issues Unfortunately, I can't elaborate without cross-posting emails without permission. Do a google.
