TSH is useless if the hypothyroidism is centrally mediated (hypothalmus or pituitary dysfunction). > Another MD, who specializes in treating FM/CFS, requested 9 to 5 >blood test to see adrenal problem. So, is he going to test cortisol in the blood test? Often cortisol levels are normal even when the person is suffering severely with adrenal insufficiency. Guest guest
>TK--- One, look for silver fillings. If you are worried about Hg under other fillings or in root canals x-ray will show amalgam unless it is covered by another metal - in which case you have to throughly question the dentist that did the work or redo them. Most dentists are not concerned about leaving some amalgam behind so you have to be careful as it happens frequently.< Most of them are careless, and they pretend to know everything. I have two root canals; the dentist who, supposedly, removed all my amalgams didn't know, and I didn't tell him. He drilled so much until my tooth darkened. He was surprised it was so deep. He ignored the other one, because it is so small. No silver fillings or metal that I am aware of, but at least I have one root canal to clean. For all the sleepless people in this group: I turned off my humidifire for two nights, and slept til the morning. When the humidifire was on, I was awake after about 4 hours without being able to go back to sleep. Even though I cleaned it twice a week. I hope this helps someone.
