I dont who contacts me about that and what they will send me too, but I am looking forward to however or whatever happens. My husband went with me and waited for me, he knew this visit to get officially started somewhere in the system meant alot to me, then we did a date, we went to a movie and dinner, Such a great day and so much to be thankful for. Guest guest
Colleen, You made me cry. I am so happy for you! I have degenerated Disc which I believe they used as a co-morbid and high blood pressure. I have had Cervical Cancer, but am Cancer free now. Other than that, I am healthy. Not really sure what made me qualify. My last EKG came out fine, so I guess that was just a scare so I would appreciate it when I found out I was healthy! I really feel you will find a way to qualify. I appreciate your posts and your positive attitude. Guest guest
Hi Colleen, Doesn't seem small to me. Getting a referral is a big step. I hope that all goes smoothly. I can feel how happy you are when I read your posting - and it makes me happy for you. As long as your BMI meets the requirements, there shouldn't be any problem. You said that yours does meet the requirement - but which requirement? With Kaiser, a BMI of 50 or more should get you approved even without any co-morbidities. Between 40 and 50, Kaiser looks for you to have co-morbidities, however Kaiser's standards are more strict than the NIH's - and if you meet the NIH's you can get Kaiser to pay if you appeal. Please, let us know how things progress. All the best, Kay open RNY 12/1/03 Colleen Garner wrote: Sweetgemlady656@... wrote: Hi There Groip Today may seem small for some but for me today was such a leap forward.
