Guest guest
I don't know about wigs, but I did hear at my last Kaiser Support group that Biotin (I think thats how its spelled) helps ALOT with the hair falling out. I think you can buy it at any vitamin store! Jena > Hello, All. Despite my stunning good looks (ha, ha), my hair is > falling out in clumps and it is really showing. Guest guest
Thanks, Jena. Unfortunately, I was beyond Biotin before surgery. I've tried Nioxin, etc. also. It's just time to face the fact that I need a wig. > > Hello, All. Despite my stunning good looks (ha, ha), my hair is > > falling out in clumps and it is really showing. Guest guest
Hi, I don't know of any wig shops but I know that when my mother and friend were losing hair due to chemotherapy, the American Cancer Society was a wonderful resosurce. They can refer you to reputable wig shops, but they also had some wonderfully stylish looks using scarfs and hats for the days when you don't want to wear a wig. I know that San Leandro Hospital used to have some wonderful resources but I haven't been there in a while. Contact the local Cancer Society chapter for informtion.
