I don't know about wigs, but I did hear at my last Kaiser Support

group that Biotin (I think thats how its spelled) helps ALOT with the

hair falling out. I think you can buy it at any vitamin store! :)

Thanks, Jena. Unfortunately, I was beyond Biotin before surgery.

I've tried Nioxin, etc. also. It's just time to face the fact that I

need a wig.

Well that stinks. I think I ordered a pony tail type thing once from

this place, they had some really nice looking wigs...

Hi,

I don't know of any wig shops but I know that when my mother and friend were losing hair due to chemotherapy, the American Cancer Society was a wonderful resosurce. They can refer you to reputable wig shops, but they also had some wonderfully stylish looks using scarfs and hats for the days when you don't want to wear a wig. I know that San Leandro Hospital used to have some wonderful resources but I haven't been there in a while. Contact the local Cancer Society chapter for informtion.
