Guest guest
I can I can!! LOL Breanda ,Im always buying new clothes and seeing how far I can go. I was at a bbq a few weeks ago and I was wearing a short short mini skirt. I just knew someone would say SHELL what are you wearing!! Well no one did. Infact I had everyone saying man you look hot! I loved all the attention and lapped it up! Now these are really good friends of ours and in our group theres ALWAYS allot of teasing going on. They told he better be careful someone does not try and steal me away from him. He said that would never happen, and he is right! Im so bless to have him. Anyway I say good for you!! Im sure you look wonderful and I can wait to hear how your day is going. Please post and let us know. I also want to add these friends of mine have stood by me though my jouney . They were so scared for me as my weight was nearing 400 .They thought I was going to die and to be honest I was not to far from death had I kept going like I was. They are so so happy that im heathy now and never waste a chance to tell me. Im truly blessed. Shell > I dont know how to start this. Guest guest
--- Ok Im at work in my new little squort and its fantastic !!!! Im getting so much positive feedback even from the kids !!!!! I was so afraid of the reactions. This is the first time Ive showed my " bat wings " since surgery. But everyone has been so supportive and say I look fantastic. Ok what can I try next......a two piece, a mini skirt....oh the new possibilities. By the way...Ive been thinking of getting a tatoo..you know just to do something daring to celebrate the new me...but I get bored easy so a permanent thing like a tatoo may not be such a good idea but Dr Baggs jokingly said to ask Dr Fisher to pierce my new bellybutton when he does my tummy tuck in August. What do you think...Im seriously considering it. Huggles In gastric-bypass-support-kaiser-patients , " Shell " <shells793@y...> wrote: > I can I can!! I have this dichotomy of knowing that I am a sexy, beautiful woman and then tripping over cultural norms. I resolve it by choosing what I do when. If I'm going to be in non-supportive situation, I wear more conservative clothes that are more conventionally attractive. If I'm going to be out with Brendt or in a group of supportive friends, I let myself have fun. You are not alone! Laurel
