Guest guest
KERYN, I cannot offer any personal advice to bankruptcy, I do know there is a section they have where you don't lose everything you own, because we had a friend who had to go on disability and she was a single mom, but her kids are grown. MY heart goes out to u, but my prayers will be with you. ((((Hugs)))) in ALA
Guest guest
Hi all- As I still cannot work, and have a few debts that now my mother can't handle to help out anymore... looks like I may have to claim Bankruptcy. Has anyone on the list done this, and if so what happens? I have had perfect credit my entire life, and I am really worried about getting bad credit when I do this. What can I expect to happen? Could someone fill me in? We are looking for a lawyer in legal aid who may be able to do it pro bono. In any case, I know next to nothing about what will happen to me if I do claim for bankruptcy. I haven't been able to work now in a year, and I have no incoming income of my own. Can someone enlighten me of what would happen if I claim? Please email me off list if possible to kaikman@... Many thanks and soft hugs- Keryn P.S. I guess it goes without saying how depressed I have been recently because of this... also doesn't help that my best friend who wa living with us moved out, and I found out she wasn't as supportive about my illness as she was to my face. It appeared she expected me to go to three day new years eve parties where there was drugs and booze. I guess she doesn't believe what I am going through even though she lived here. Anyhow, that combined with the possibility of bankruptcy has me extremely depressed as of late.

Guest guest
She wasn't your friend. People who are into drugs and alcohol can never really be anyone's friend. I hope you'll meet someone who will be a TRUE friend!
