Guest guest
> I peeked at the web site posted for the invisible clock (www.invisibleclock.com). I'm > wondering if I could slip this in my apron pocket at work (I wait tables) and set it for > vibrate only. I don't think you'd feel the vibration with it in your pocket. I sometimes set it to vibrate and put it in my pocket (at hip level on my pants) and can't feel it. That's why I leave it on beep during the day. Once at a loud party, I didn't hear the beep either, but I have not tried setting the beep to the loudest setting. I think a vibrating watch would be much better for your work hours. I have a Vibralite 3 (VL 300), which has only 2 alarm settings. There might be better ones for what you need - see below. > Will the alarm continue to vibrate until you turn it off No. It vibrates for maybe 10 or so seconds. I just checked the instruction sheet and there are settings to increase the vibration speed (but apparently not length), loudness of beeps and number of beeps (up to 6 each time the alarm sounds). I do not know of any way you can make the IC vibrate and beep - it just does one or the other. >Is it conducive to being worn or put in a pocket, or is it too easy to > unintentionally hit a button and change a setting? I put it in my pocket. I have not had any trouble with buttons being accidentally pushed. I also have keys, cell phone and several packet of pills in there sometimes. You have to hold a button for 3 seconds to get into the alarm setting mode. > It sounds like it might work well if you > can put it on your arm and sleep with it I strap it on with a stretchy headband I bought at the drug store. Even with the band crossing over some of the buttons, I have not had trouble with the buttons being pushed accidentally. The biggest trouble I have with it is if I drop it, the little cover for the battery compartment tends to fly off and the battery comes loose. W. P.S.
