Hi Terri,

Wow! Seems like Kaiser has added a new wrinkle - nonetheless you are nearly

there.

I look forward to seeing you post a surgery date. BTW I'm glad that you've

come out of lurkdom - I hope that you find this group as helpful as I have.

Feel free to ask anything or just to express how you're feeling.

Take care,

Kay

Greetings,

I've been a lurker for a few weeks and I truly appreciate the valuable

info you all have provided. I've attended a couple of support groups

at Kaiser - Oakland & Richmond, also very valuable.

Today I went in for a weight check in Richmond and was delighted to

find that I'm 3.5 # from goal. I expected to get a surgical date

today or very soon but the policy seems to have changed since

orientation in late February.:o( The next step now is to schedule

with the nurse practioner to review the binder for understanding.

I'll do that on March 6 and then see the surgeon on March 7.

Following the surgical appt., a date will be set. I'm trying hard to

be patient and know that the next 2 weeks will pass.

Regards,

Terri

March 6 & 7 are an awful long ways away!! :-) Congrats on being so

close to your pre-op goals! That is awesome! Keep up the good work and

keep us posted!
