HI Angie,

That really sounds wonderful but do you know what the base price is. That would give me some kind of idea if it is feasible for us or not. I think it would be wonderful if we could all get together and do something like that. Especially since it is a year in planning.

I would go with my husband and an interior room would be fine unless of course the exterior is not too much more expensive. The first or second week would be fine. I have no preference.

Ramona,

We don't have prices yet because it's sooo far in advanced. I am think around 350 or so including port charges and taxes. (A dollar a day if you start saving now.. plus you'd have a little extra.. make that $2 with hubby)... I should know a rate by the end of April... Also, with a large group there should be some sort of discount and I am at about 25 cabins right now...

Do you have a travel agent? A very close friend of mine books these cruises all the time.

There are corporations who take all their employees for a business trip via a cruise. She books Creative Memory cruises.. anything. On cruises where she books hundreds of people, she also books conference rooms for meetings.. or scrapbooking... or group therapy or whatever. She also goes on those cruises to be sure all their needs are being met - part of her job and it's not a relaxing cruise for her. She has to get up before they serve breakfast to be sure it's right... all events, food and whatever throughout the day until 10pm... that's when she gets a break.

A couple years ago, one company booked 300 employees and their spouses/significant other and went on a cruise off the Florida coast. They went to Atlantis for 10 days - plus the 4 day cruise to get there. Everything was paid for except after hours partying and souvenirs. She never worked so hard in her life.

Let me know if you need her name and number.

Cruise 2005

Hello All!I am helping to plan a cruise for June of 2005 for CA obesityhelp.com members and I thought I'd extend an invitation to you all too... AT this point I am simply trying to see who is interested. If you are please email me and answer these questions:There are a few questions I need answered though-1. Do you prefer the 1st or 2nd weekend in June (the 3rd weekend is Father's day and the 4th costs more)?2. I need a ROUGH (I know it will change) idea of how many cabins we will need and how many to a cabin. I know some of you will want to bring wives, husbands, sig. others, children, or perhaps there are people that want to be roommates for the cruise. 3. Also, let me know if you would be interested in an exterior room or an interior room. Interior are less expensive. 4. Preference between Carnival Cruise Line or Royal Carribean- they both leave from L.A. and have the following itinerary: Friday night at sea, Saturday Ensenada, Sunday at sea, return on Monday.....Really the most important detail is if you think you will be wanting to go b/c there is a difference in price based on the number of cabins....

I would probably be in for that, with my husband and son, who will be

almost five by then. No preference (currently) on date. Interior room is

fine. Don't know enough to choose between Carnival and Royal Carribean.

I'd be interested. I prefer Royal Caribbean (but I'm flexible). I'd

like an outside cabin for two (me and the old ball and chain--Zack).

Once you get an idea of the cost, let us know.
