Hi !

I don't know whether there is a risk of overdosing NAC. The normal adult dose is

200 mg three times a day and 600 mg are taken only if an instant bowel movement

is desired. But that may vary from person to person. The usual form of NAC here

are well-tasting bubble-tablets containing 200 mg. For little children we have a

sap, allowing to give smaller doses. So I don't know why there are 600 mg in

your capsules, but it should be okay. With the newest findings (or better

speculations) about GSH being important for pwcf, the intake of NAC, the most

important building block of GSH, might be positive too. In fact the reason why

Fiona and most other pwcf in Germany are on NAC is twofold. It can cleave the

mucus in the intestines and it can also help to improve the antioxidant-system

in the body.

Thanks for mentioning Fiona's picture. We are very pleased with the design of

our prototype, but there is still some work to do with the internal construction

:-)) There is half a year between the two pictures and her hair is getting

darker. Silke and I have dark, straight hair and we have always wondered where

the blonde curls came from :-) And is a beauty too! Please don't tell

her, that I have suggested half the adult dose for her :-))

, I don't think you have to be on cystic-l to get a photo published in

the gallery. I am sure Ron is happy about every addition.

, I have the feeling that Joachim has recovered from his sad loss. At

least he does a great job with his list and is still very active in his local

support group. But I only know him from cyberspace. If you go to his website at

www.cf-selbsthilfe.org you can see a new photo of him in an upbeat mood.

Hope all are doing well and we don't have any twister-victims on the list. Saw

the pictures on CNN and it was really terrible.

Bye-bye
