Guest guest
http://people.aol.com/people/magazine/coverstoryexcerpt/0,11369,575777,00.html I just read Randy's story and for my part it sounded like he was kind of clueless that there were a lot of things that he was going to have to give up. It really wasn't an in-depth type interview, where it really gives a person a little insight as to what is really going on when you have surgery. This is one of the reasons I am so thankful for the wonderful program that Kaiser has in preparing you for your new life. I go to the post case management in SSF and I think we are blessed with the three most wonderful and caring people. They are the ones that coordinate every thing. They are Gity, Nadia and Beth. Gity helps keep our bodies connect to the mind. Nadia keeps us on track with her no nonsense advise. Beth she takes care to make sure we are eating correctly and is always emphasizing the need for the supplements. With a team like that we can't lose. I don't think there has been once that I have come home where I didn't get something good from the meetings. The support group meetings are also the best. I just think that they are so important in helping to guarantee your success. To me they help me stayed grounded. Ramona 1/13/2003 357/212/175???
