Guest guest
I think something that would help a bit with the large number of posts. And help with those on digest and confusion of subjects, would be for triming of posts when replying to the list. There have been a lot of replies with several posts from others on the same topic still on the bottom of the new post. On other lists I am on this is especailly aggrivating to those that get digest form. ( I am not complaining, just making an observation) Also as a subject changes its topic , either add another word to reflect change of direction of post or change subject line. Or state was_____ now____. This will help those of of that skim subject lines to help decide which treads to read. Occasionally I will have to back track to the beginning of a subject when I notice a change in direction and want to be sure I didn't miss something important. Guest guest
Debbie~ This subject has come up before. And you are right it does help to do some trimming. Some people found it quite easy to do, others had difficulty with it. If nothing else, I agree, changing the subject line would probably help to identify what the reply is going to be about. I am one of those people who will start a completely new post if I get lost in the conversation or want to change the subject. I'm really lazy about changing subject in subject line, but I will try to be more aware. I do realize how a person can get lost in all the chatting. Love and blessings...Val was splitting list, now trimming posts and subject changes I think something that would help a bit with the large number of posts. And help with those on digest and confusion of subjects, would be fortriming of posts when replying to the list.
