Guest guest
Liz, you make an excellent point here. Also, I have always wondered about those precious seniors who live beyond their hundreds and eat or drink those things the healthy conscious never put in their mouths. I am going to talk to my doctor with more detail about what I am eating. All I ran by her is the fact I would try eating a strict vegetarian diet. I am not sure she even knows what that really entails. You are correct about moderation and exercise. But if I am going to put stuff that is potentially toxic in my body I would rather it is soimething that has been clinically tested by a reputable association such as the FDA, not something that " they " say is good. Mind you I do believe that eating a lot of veggies and fruit is beneficial, again there is statistical evidence to prove that. But just because that is good why does it automatically follow that everything else is bad. Moderation and exercise are the keys!! Well that's enought of my preaching. My great aunt, who died at 101, ate all bran for breakfast, but also smoked and drank in moderation, always used to say " a little bit of what you fancy does you good " !LOL It worked for her!Love to all, Liz >>
