Guest guest
Dearest , There is not a thing we can say really that will make much difference to you right now but we do want you to know how much we all care about you <warm hug> I am sure that everyone joins with me in sending you the most positive thoughts, prayers etc, that we can possibly muster. It seems to happen so often that the same people are tested again and again and it just doesn't quite seem fair. In order to be able to survive one has to believe that in the end it will all turn out OK and that we have gone through all our trials for a reason. It's wonderful that you have been able to forgive and move on, you are the winner here<smile> I admire you for that as I'm sure it was not easy to do under the circumstances. we are with you in spirit, fighting with/for you every step of the way. Take care Special hugs, lisbeth --Original Message----- >From: " J " <denisej@...> >Hello, >Just want to let people know that in addition to needing knee replacement >and having a brain tumor I found out today I have cancer in my uterus. Guest guest
Dear , I'm so sorry you have to bear so much. We will all be here anytime you want to talk. Remember how many on this list over the years have come through both cancer and rheumatic disease. You can come through it, too. God bless, Chris. From: " J " <denisej@...> Hello, Just want to let people know that in addition to needing knee replacement and having a brain tumor I found out today I have cancer in my uterus. I remember the good old days when all I had was rheumatoid arthritis. I'm hanging in though. In-between bouncing off the walls being scared I feel pretty darn good. Tomorrow morning my ob/gyn guy will be in and we will be talking scheduling surgery. I am scheduled for knee replacement on the 29th but I will likely lose that date because of the cancer needing to be dealt with right away. The sad part of all this is that I had a pap test 9/8 that showed I needed a biopsy and the paper work got lost. I will never have another medical test done without making a calendar entry to check results if I don't hear from people. I was just over-whelmed with medical stuff and then when I found out I have the brain tumor my attention was focused on getting a referral outside my Kaiser HMO to a doctor who deals with meningiomas using fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery. The pap test just slipped my mind. The A.N.P. brought the pap test results to my doctor and me with the story that she was holding back the information because she didn't want to burden me. All I was looking at in September was the knee replacement surgery. I hope people will pray for her because she must be suffering over this. I have already forgiven her and I am praying for her as much to save me as her.
