Here is what Kate was telling you, specifically... ) Val..I agree with whomever said it--... ...What was I saying!? oh..Val,,,you have an amazing heart. It is soft and feeling. I'm assuming that you posted this message as a response to something I had posted, but...for the life of me, I don't remember what I said or what the subject was about. If I read your post correctly, I'd take it that you are talking about cognitive issues. About the meds and the forgetfullness....I myself, don't even have to weigh the situation. I already know that the meds make me a little daft. But, I also know that if I don't take them, the pain is so severe that I can't think about anything else but the pain. Therefore, the pain makes me daft. So, given the choice, I'd rather take the meds. I'm daft either way. LOLOL Now, because I answered this post in the fashion that I have, can I ask a question???? Am I any closer to 3rd base? Love and blessings...Val Val and all Val..I agree with whomever said it--Challis? Oh, I can't even remember...lately, I just give up on talking--me! Imagine me, giving up on talking. I'm so upset and frustrated. The words can't come at all to my mouth. I was in a Bible Study this week, and it was so refreshing to be with about 5 or 6 Moms. I cannot tell you how many times I attempted to formulate an idea or sentence, and said--it's too hard to talk, the words aren't coming...and I think only 3 of the people know I have MS. I don't even think they know that 'that' is associated or can be, with MS...oh Jeepers! What was I saying!? oh..Val,,,you have an amazing heart. It is soft and feeling. I think as parents, we can imagine our own hearts ripping if...I cannot even speak it...but you know what I mean It hurts too much to think about. I am wondering something...and then I'm wondering if the answer even matters...you know what I mean? I am curious to know how or if, you can discern how much of mind jumbling , forgetting--just about everything -is related to MS, or meds? and...does it even matter? Well, if it's meds..I think, well, if I quit meds, maybe my mind would be clear, but heck, I'd have real horrific pain...so, I got on this scale--pain on one side, and mental confusion on the other. Then I keep crying about how the meds for my TN seem to keep me a slave to being overweight..so that part is on the 'scale', no pun--also..like ok, if I quit meds, maybe I'd think clearer and lose weight--so those are 2 strong positives, with the big ol' negative being the hard to imagine pain...oh well..i think i've jabbered and yammered and probably lost most of you along the way...love and blessings to all, kate No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Okie dokie....Do you know how many times I had to read your post before I "got it"? I get it now, and I'm embarrassed again. Well, I've been out of it for about a week now, and though I've tried to hide it by not posting so often, I'm finding that it's showing anyway. I think it may be time to get some help. I don't know if it's the MS, the family issues, my lifestyle, or a combination of all three. But, I am definately spacing out. I'm getting more and more forgetfull. I'm crying all the time. I have no appetite.(blessing in disguise?) I get easily aggrivated. And when I try to describe all this, I'm finding it hard to come up with the simplist words. My backspace button is getting more of a workout than I've ever had. Except for my right pinky finger, which is the one I use to press the backspace. If y'all don't hear from me for awhile, don't fret. I'll be okay once this all passes. Love and blessings...Val Val and all Val..I agree with whomever said it--Challis? Guest guest Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 Love coming your way, Val! Just do what you need to do to cope (and do ask Tom for help with anything, such as calling the doc or whatever, that is what love and marriage is all about, after all!). And, of course!, do continue to vent here all you need (or don't if you feel you need the break). love and hugs, /Reb > Kate~ > I'm so sorry, I'm out here wildly waving my arms, wondering how I got stranded out here in left field.
