Re: not a dirty word

I'm gonna be thinking about them dairy cows in CA...when I make that sinful crock pot cake...yes.. .I was out buying the ingredients today! I can barely walk now from the super market--we went to the HUGE one...and ya ready for how I'm making this cake even MORE decadent...I' ll probably get sick! lol! like your sons! lol! Instead of instant chocolate pudding mix...oh, I'm a sinner...I bought...instant dark chocolate MOUSSE!! If I don't pass out after I consume this...I'll let ya know how it is! ROFL!

Ok...now I have another idea to add to our recipe box: what's for dinner? it can be mac and cheese, hotdogs...whatever you're having...maybe that's dumb...we have MS...we don't want to talk about what we're eating for dinner....but since we're not doing that...here' s what I whipped up for dinner tonight: simple--took red pepper, yellow and green squash, scallions, mushrooms, tofu--the firm, and cubed it, and jumbo shrimp--stir fried it all with loads of garlic, olive oil and soy sauce. Hub will be home soon, so I can tell you how it tastes--we're waiting on him for dinner.

Did my mail turn out weird, or something? I can read it just fine but I think I mistakenly clicked "symbol" as the font. ROFL Here I'll put it in a different font. Let me know if you can read it now. hugs)SharonThat sounds really good Kate. Did you create that recipe or??? I know I would love it just from the sound of it. Yesterday my son and his wife had an especially hard day at work (their hard day at work is like nothing anyone else experiences either). I knew they wouldn't feel like cooking so I put chicken thighs/legs on the baking pan, cut potatoes into "farm fries" and tucked them all around the chicken. I drizzled some olive oil over it all and then liberally sprinkled garlic powder and black pepper over the top. And I do mean liberally. lol I baked it until it was crispy on top. I made a green bean salad with french green beans, lemon juice and dry ranch dressing mix. I baked 10 pounds of chicken and about 8 pounds of potatoes. When son and dil have been out in the heat all day they always want something with lemon and salt to help replenish their bodies. Actually their oldest, , went with them too. Kids bounce back from something like that faster than adults but he was still beat. will be 13 in September. My son and his wife are home a lot during the day but yesterday was nearly all day long--so I was "on duty" much longer than normal. And I did 3 loads of my own laundry and put it away (that's the chore part) and did some of the family's laundry. And I hounded the girls to do their chores all day. Well, I should say I only hounded the 9 y/o. I had washed 3 pots/pans first thing in the morning and the oldest girl, Kate, took over and did all the dishes even though it wasn't her chore for the day. Her brother was on dishes but he was gone to work with mom/dad. Then Kate went next door and helped the girl there with her yard work. When Kate gets in a cleaning mood she's like the white tornado. lol Kate is short for Katelyn. Anyway, the moral of this story is that I over did. I tossed and turned all night and my legs and arms felt like "flu limbs", if that makes any sense.Today I'm going to try to take it easier. hugs))Sharon

Bill...IS your last name, GATES? You are amazing! How did you DO that? You know what, it would probably go over my head...so, just suffice to say--thank you very much for the translation!

Sharon, you have a heart of gold all what you did--with MS, with the heat! And the heat of cooking! oh my!

Yes, I like to come up with my own concoctions. I had gone to the market, with , 7, the youngest...and he wanted shrimp. I knew we had tofu at home I had to cook up

soon, or it wouldn't be 'the same' lol! I love to have all sorts of veggies for the colors--and I think our bodies love all the colors of many different fruits and veggies going in it every day!

I also put in some sliced mushrooms as well!

You take it easy today, or else!

love to all,

kate

Thanks for the translation. Sharon, Dinner sounds great! You gotta start pacing yourself. You remind me of myself when I used to have one good day in the month. I took total advantage of it, then suffered for days.

Well, Mom, that's a really interesting font to use. LOLOL I hope you don't mind, but I'm taking the liberty of posting it again, in a font I can read. ROFL (What the heck happened?? lol). Yepper,

They're going to be taking lotz and lotz of blood. I sure hope they'll be able to tell me something about my thyroid and check my blood sugar.( CBC, TSH, and CMP) Also, having a chest X-ray taken. Then, I go back on the 9th for an EKG and complete physical. Trying to get a bunch of stuff done before I go back to my neuro.

The last time I saw n post, she said something about going through the web? I haven't seen a post come through here in a few days.

Blessed be...Val

Ok Sharon, I can't read this at all, is it just me?Sharon Marsden wrote: That sounds really good Kate. Did you create that recipe or??? I know I would love it just from the sound of it. Yesterday my son and his wife had an especially hard day at work (their hard day at work is like nothing anyone else experiences either). I knew they wouldn't

feel like cooking so I put chicken thighs/legs on the baking pan, cut potatoes into "farm fries" and tucked them all around the chicken. And I did

3 loads of my own laundry and put it away (that's the chore part) and did some of the family's laundry. I tossed and turned all night and my legs and arms felt like "flu limbs", if that makes any sense.Today I'm going to try to take it easier. hugs))Sharon This email is a natural hand made product.
